Olive, a pioneer in the use of artificial intelligence to revolutionize the healthcare industry, came to treetree for an environmental graphic design program that would guide and unify the brand experience across its national satellite offices, known as SubStations. Because SubStations bring Olive’s employees, customers and industry partners together to change the world, these environments must foster social connection, reinforce brand vision and inspire a collective passion for the work Olive does: shining a light on the broken healthcare system.
SubStation design toolkit
SubStation environments vary across the country in terms of furniture, finishes, flooring and access to natural light. So, Olive’s environmental graphic design program needed to balance brand standardization with execution flexibility, allowing each location to implement the program according to their space, production feasibility and budget.
Welcome wall and brand wall
treetree gave us not only a creative solution for branding our many different spaces, but one that brought our brand to life in ways that we never could have imagined. This team did an amazing job capturing the essence of our brand in a new medium.
We started by creating the conceptual story for the SubStation environments based on Olive’s vision to help fix the broken healthcare system by revealing life-changing outcomes. We then designed five key moments that would be standard in each substation, developing three production levels for each that maintained design intent while allowing for flexibility in application.
treetree’s experience in dimensional design, deep understanding of Olive’s brand guidelines and knowledge of materials, fabrication and installation resulted in a beautiful, functional toolkit that will support the Olive brand team as they breathe life into all SubStation environments.
